Announced in beta form in March, Serato Studio is the new intuitive beat making software for DJs and producers from the creators of Serato DJ. The software was designed to be super DJ-friendly and enable beginner producers to get their ideas out quickly.
As expected, signups for the public beta testing of Serato Studio quickly reached capacity and have since been closed. Lucky for you, BPM Supreme’s sound design expert Mike Acosta has you covered with our latest episode of Software Spotlight.
Beginning with an introduction of Serato Studio, Acosta gives an overview of the DAW then dives into some of the features available so far. He also shows us a beat he made from scratch before offering his final thoughts on the software.
Watch the full Software Spotlight above and let us know what you think of this episode. Also, be sure to check back for more details about Serato Studio as they unfold. Since Serato Studio is still in beta, we’re excited to see/hear what else gets added when the official launch date arrives.
