Numark’s new 2-channel mixer, the Scratch, generated a lot of buzz in the DJ community last week, and rightfully so. It has a lot to offer for just under $500 USD.
Similar mixers at this price point, like the Pioneer DJM-S3 for example, typically only include independent channel filters. The Scratch, however, gives you an array of features like an InnoFader scratch crossfader, Low/High-pass filters, six direct access software FX buttons, eight performance pads, and more.
BPM Supreme’s DJ Inspire briefly covered some of the features of the Scratch in our “Unboxing” video last week. Today, she returns for further analysis of the mixer on a new episode of “Quick Look,” presented by I DJ Now.
Inspire examines the build and sound quality of the Scratch, then explains how some of its features work, and finally shares her thoughts on the mixer.
