As Ableton users eagerly anticipate the arrival of Live 10, they can now also help to debug and perfect the software. With a recently announced public beta program, Live 9 Standard and Live 9 Suite owners can sign up to join the beta test and access the latest beta installers.
“We aim to ensure that Ableton Live is completely stable music software. Because Live supports so many different workflows and hardware setups there are just too many scenarios for us to test by ourselves – to do so, we need your help. The goal of this beta program is to find and reproduce all unintended behavior in the newest beta version of Live that is not present in the most recent release version.
Your feedback not only helps us improve the current version of Ableton Live but also influences the course of future product development. We also actively recruit internal beta and alpha testers from the most helpful public beta testers.”
Live 10 is expected to be released early this year and will be priced at the same levels as Live 9.
Added bonus: If you purchase Live 9 now, you’ll get 20% off and a free upgrade to Live 10. Find out more on Ableton’s website and let us know if you’ll be using the public beta program.
