SoundSwitch has announced the latest update to their hardware/software system that offers DJs the ability to seamlessly integrate DJ software and DMX lighting. Previously only compatible with Serato DJ, version 1.5 now includes support for Virtual DJ 8. It also has an added local library-searching feature and general user interface enhancements.

This new update is exciting news for Virtual DJ 8 users. To get started, download the 1.5 update, as well as the Virtual DJ 8 plugin files. You can read more about plugin installation here. 

Another new feature of SoundSwitch 1.5 is local file library searching. This feature allows users to search files located on a local hard drive or external storage device without having to use iTunes, VDJ Playlists or Serato Crates.

SoundSwitch highly encourages Serato DJ users to upgrade to 1.5 in order to take advantage of automation upgrades, bug fixes and general stability improvements.
