Share

Many DJs were eagerly waiting to see if Pioneer DJ would create a Serato-compatible version of the pro-grade DDJ-1000 controller, which was made for use with Pioneer’s own software, rekordbox dj. Well, now the wait is over. Pioneer DJ has revealed the DDJ-1000SRT 4-channel performance DJ controller that’s built to feel like a nightclub setup and developed specifically for Serato DJ Pro users. Keep reading for more.

The DDJ-1000SRT has the same club-style layout as the DDJ-1000 with low-latency, CDJ-sized jog wheels alongside Pioneer DJ’s popular DJM mixing section, plus a MAGVEL FADER for smooth scratching. It also features 14 Beat FX and 4 popular Sound Color FX found on DJM-series DJ mixers – Pitch, Filter, Dub Echo, and Noise. The DDJ-1000SRT has 4 inputs so you can connect to CDJs or analog turntables, or simply use it as a stand-alone DJ mixer.

More key features include:

  • On Jog Display that gives track information in the center of each jog wheel
  • 4 Sound Color FX and 14 Beat FX built-in
  • 16 performance pads to trigger Hot Cues, Rolls, Slicer, Sampler, and Pitch Play
  • DJM mixing section packed with MAGVEL FADER crossfader
  • Dual USB ports for the smoothest DJ transitions and back-to-back performance
  • XLR and RCA master outputs
  • Four line inputs with two phono options for DVS compatibility
  • Two balanced mic inputs
  • Key Shift and Key Sync buttons for direct control of Serato Pitch ‘n Time DJ key-related features
  • Aluminum/acrylic-finished top panel for a quality look and feel
  • Unlocks Serato DJ Pro and supports Serato DVS

If you’re interested in purchasing the new DDJ-1000SRT, act fast because the first 5,000 units sold also come with a free Serato DJ Suite voucher valued at $299 USD that includes a Serato DJ Pro license and unlocks all the Serato Expansion Packs (Serato Play, Serato DVS, Serato Video, Serato Flip, and Serato Pitch ‘n Time DJ).

The DDJ-1000SRT will be available later this month for $1,299 USD. To learn more, visit Pioneer DJ’s website and check out the official introduction video above featuring Red Bull Music 3Style World Champ, J. Espinosa.
