Just announced, innovative DJ gear manufacturer Numark has unveiled two brand new Serato controllers that give DJs easy access to professional features and effects paddles, the 4-deck Mixtrack Platinum FX, and the 2-deck Mixtrack Pro FX. 

Numark has set out to create a new standard in DJ controllers that come with an impressive list of features at an affordable price. Both the Mixtrack Platinum FX ($249) and the Mixtrack Pro FX ($199) include various effects buttons, large 6-inch capacitive-touch jog wheels, and 16 multi-function performance pads. We imagine these controllers will not only be popular with the beginner DJ crowd, but also established DJs looking for a fun new toy or solid piece of backup gear. Mixtrack Platinum FX

On the higher end of the two, the Mixtrack Platinum FX gives DJs access to four decks to create remixes and mashups on the fly. Everything needed to sound like a pro is easily accessible, including large 6-inch jog wheels with jog wheel displays, 16 performance pads for hot cues, and more.

The Platinum FX has 6 dedicated software effects buttons for easy transitions, including Echo, Reverb, Flanger, Phaser, HPF (High Pass Filter), and LPF (Low Pass Filter). Plus, this controller has dual paddle triggers, previously only available on higher priced controllers, that enable you to mix with these software effects on each channel.

To get you started right out of the box, the Platinum FX comes with Serato DJ Lite and is upgrade-ready to the full version of Serato DJ.

The Mixtrack Pro FX has all of the features of the Mixtrack Platinum FX, but in a 2-deck design, with standard capacitive-touch jog wheels (no on-jog display). This controller also comes pre-mapped with Serato DJ Lite for Mac & PC (software included) and is upgrade-ready to the full version of Serato DJ. Coming in at $199, it’s a great option for DJs looking to practice their skills or become a better DJ at home.
