A few weeks back, Native Instruments released a public beta for a Traktor PRO 2 update and mentioned that the new version had already been approved by Pioneer DJ. Now officially released, Traktor 2.11.3 includes advanced HID support and integrates the software with big-stage gear like Pioneer DJM and Allen & Heath mixers.

It’s now possible to sync iTunes song info from the iTunes node of the browser by selecting ‘Sync Song Info’ from the context menu (right-click).
A mystery Allen & Heath mixer is mentioned in the video, but Native Instruments clearly states that they aren’t allowed to talk about it yet. We’ll keep you posted on this developing story, but it sounds like it’s already Traktor Scratch certified and coming soon.
Editor’s note: Allen & Heath officially introduced the Xone:96 Analogue DJ Mixer with Traktor Scratch certification on June 11, 2018.
A last questionable detail mentioned within the YouTube video description: “Denon DJ’s Librarian software is now capable to import your Traktor playlists.”
We’re not sure if the Librarian software mentioned is definitely Engine Prime support, but we’ll keep you posted on this as well!
Editor’s note: Denon DJ released v1.2 software/firmware update with Traktor Support on June 18, 2018.
