Dominican-born rapper, singer, and songwriter Jenn Morel may be tiny, but she is fierce. As one of Latin music’s rising stars, she’s collaborated with GTA, John Hart, and 2x Grammy Award-winning producers, Play-N-Skillz. We were excited to catch up with Morel on our latest episode of “Backspin,” the video series where we talk with some of our favorite artists and DJs about their most memorable behind-the-scenes stories.

When Morel’s debut single “Ponteme” became a fast-growing hit across Europe, she landed on tour in Italy unsure of what to expect as a new artist. Morel was overwhelmed by the positive response from fans! However, one night after her performance, an ill-behaved fan crossed the line. Let’s just say that although Morel is no taller than 5’3 she can handle herself in a tough situation.
