Algoriddim Introduces Beat, Vocal, and Instrument Separation on New djay Pro AI
Share

Creators of the award-winning music app djay for iOS, Algoriddim has introduced djay Pro AI, a significant update that adds artificial intelligence-based music separation. With this new technology, DJs can isolate, play, and remix individual elements from tracks in real-time. Keep reading for more.

Dubbed Neural Mix, the djay app’s new AI system lets DJs separate a beat, instruments, or vocals directly from streamed or local tracks on the fly and mix them live. Whether you layer and swap individual elements of a song, or place the vocals or rhythm from one track directly onto another, the possibilities are endless.

On screen, djay Pro AI provides intuitive sliders and controls, enabling users to seamlessly fade between drums and harmonic components of a song, or to create instant acapellas and instrumentals with the tap of a button.

AI Waveforms

djay Pro AI shows individual Neural Mix waveforms for beats, instruments, and vocal components per track. As the Neural Mix sliders are adjusted, the waveform colors and amplitudes are recomputed in real-time.

Core ML and the Apple A12Z Bionic

Neural Mix harnesses the power of Apple’s Bionic chip for human brain-like processing of sound.

djay Pro AI is available now on the App Store and is compatible with any iPhone or iPad running iOS 12 or later. Neural Mix requires a Pro subscription and is free to all existing subscribers. Watch the video above to learn more or start a free trial by visiting Algoriddim’s website.
