Pioneer DJ’s Popular All-In-One DJ System Gets Upgraded to XDJ-RX2
Share

Pioneer has released an official introduction of their updated all-in-one DJ system, the XDJ-RX2. With improvements made from its predecessor, the XDJ-RX, this stand-alone DJ system allows you to leave your laptop at home and perform anywhere, controlling music stored on your laptop via rekordbox dj, or directly from USB devices.

The new two-deck, two-channel system inherits features and a layout design from the flagship NXS2. The touch screen displays waveforms from both decks simultaneously, plus detailed track information. You can bring up a QWERTY keyboard on the display for finding your next track faster, plus there’s a large rotary selector and Needle Search, TracFilter and Short Cut features.

Arguably the most exciting update is the eight multicolored Performance Pads on each deck for tactile control over Hot Cues, Beat Loop, Slip Loop and Beat Jump. You can get even more creative with the Beat FX and Sound Color FX which come from the flagship DJM-900NXS2 4 Channel DJ mixer.

Purchase of the XDJ-RX2 includes a rekordbox DJ license so you can use rekordbox to prepare all of your tracks, hot cues and playlists.

The XDJ-RX2 will be priced at $1699 — find out where to buy it and view all the product details here.
