BPM Supreme and BPM Latino are proud to present the latest episode of “Production Tips & Tricks” with DJ Refresh. Refresh is an influential DJ/producer, a graduate of the Los Angeles Recording School, and one of BPM Latino’s newest remixers. In this episode, he shares how important it is to use gain staging when you mix down your tracks. 

What is gain staging you ask? Essentially it’s another name for volume control. Gain staging comes in handy when finishing up mixes by giving you more control over the decibel (dB) levels of each individual track.
