Pioneer DJ has revealed the newest addition to their range of DJ mixers: the DJM-S7. This two-channel battle mixer features a customizable setup while inheriting the clean design from the DJM-S11, complete with a large load button and 16 performance pads. Keep reading for more.
The DJM-S7 was designed for battle DJs who need equipment that can help them perform more creatively and capture the crowd’s attention, as well as open-format DJs who rapidly chop and change between musical styles. And with a customizable setup, DJs can incorporate their own unique style into every performance.
Equipped with independent pad modes, the DJM-S7 offers new ways for DJs to manipulate effects. For example, you can trigger Hot Cues on Channel 1 and use Beat Roll on Channel 2. The mixer also comes with 22 Beat FX from the DJM-S11, along with effect levers to engage Beat FX and software effects, and a Magvel Fader Pro to deliver smooth and stable crossfader performance.
Another great feature is Bluetooth Input that allows DJs to wirelessly pair their phone with the DJM-S7 via Bluetooth to drop sounds directly into the set, play loops to scratch over, or use a music app to play an audience-requested track.
The DJM-S7 automatically unlocks Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox Performance mode, including DVS control. This mixer is available now for $1,399. To learn more, check out the official introduction video above or visit Pioneer DJ’s website.
