Via Instagram this week, highly-skilled scratch DJ, DJ Qbert, has announced that the new Photon Fader is now available for preorder. Recently only teased in prototype form, the Photon Fader can turn any turntable into a DVS-capable device and lets you scratch on a portable turntable with DVS on your iPhone or iPad. Created by Qbert’s own Thud Rumble brand, alongside Jesse Dean Designs, the Photon Fader is said to provide extreme accuracy with access to cue points and even effects for analog vinyl. It can turn any turntable into a DVS-capable device with VIPERKITTEN cross-cutter technology and is compatible with Traktor, Mixxx, DJ Player Pro, Ableton, or any software that receives MIDI.
