DJ Jazzy Jeff Sets the Groove at Tomorrowland Belgium
Share

Tomorrowland Festival Belgium just wrapped up two epic weekends running from July 20 through July 29. The event’s impressive lineup included DJs such as Carl Cox, Camelphat, Tiesto, Alison Wonderland, Hardwell, and the list goes on.

While all of the acts were undoubtedly excellent, there is no one quite like the legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff. Over a span of 30 years, this DJ/turntablist has won a DMC Championship, American Music Awards, and multiple Grammy Awards. But it’s his affinity for the craft of turntablism and his genuine love of music that is most admirable.

DJ Jazzy Jeff’s Tomorrowland set is stacked with old school classics, new bangers, and plenty of scratching. He starts out with “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” by himself and The Fresh Prince, and quickly turns up the heat, slamming into “Work It” by Missy Elliot and throwing cuts into tracks like “Peter Piper” by Run-DMC.

As the set progresses, the energy continues to get heavier with “Express Yourself” by Diplo, a horn-heavy remix of “Who’s That Girl” by Eve, and “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana. No matter what kind of music you’re into, this hour-long mix is sure to give you life.
