The DJ Awards in collaboration with Mixcloud have announced the 7th edition of the Bedroom DJ Competition, a contest that invites emerging DJs from across the globe to showcase their exclusive mixes. The competition will search for the most original, creative and passionate electronic music mix.
Grand prize for the Bedroom DJ Competition is impressive and includes flights and accommodations to Ibiza for the festivities. Some awesome Pioneer gear will also be given away, including the new Pioneer XDJ-RX all-in-one DJ system and HDJ-700s DJ headphones. Here’s a full rundown of the grand prize package:
- Flights and accommodations for two people to Ibiza, Spain
- DJ masterclass with house music legend, Roger Sanchez
- Exclusive set at one of Ibiza’s iconic venues
- One-hour mix, along with an interview, broadcasted worldwide on Ibiza Global Radio
- Access to invitation-only DJ Awards Press Reception

In addition to the grand prize, the Bedroom DJ Competition will also award three lucky runners up. Contestants are encouraged to show their personality in their mixes and not be afraid to take risks.

The DJ Awards is celebrating its 20th year as an independent and nonprofit electronic music awards show. Founded by renowned Ibiza event organizer, Jose Pascual and well know DJ, producer and record label owner, Lenny Krarup, the DJ Awards takes place annually in summertime’s dance music capital, Ibiza.
