As we get ready for the big NAMM show and wrap up the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES), gear releases are emerging from all over the world. In exciting news from Japanese audio company, Audio-Technica, more than 25 new products were announced, including turntables, headphones, and other DJ accessories.

Below are five releases from Audio-Technica that we think DJs will want to know about:

AT-LP140XP Direct-Drive Turntable

This professional DJ turntable features a high-torque direct-drive motor and anti-resonant die-cast aluminum platter to ensure stable, on-axis rotation at 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM. It is equipped with an S-shaped tonearm with height adjustment, adjustable counterweight, and adjustable dynamic anti-skate control.

ATH-SR50BT & ATH-SR30BT Wireless Over-Ear Headphones

Utilizing Bluetooth wireless technology and 45 mm large-aperture drivers, this new model delivers excellent clarity and an extended frequency range with deep, accurate bass response. With features like mic and button controls in the earcup and 40 hours of battery, we predict these headphones to be a new DJ favorite.

VM95 Series Phono Cartridges

Audio-Technica’s VM95 Series of high-value moving-magnet all feature a patented Dual Magnet design.
