Share

Technics have announced the EAH-DJ1200, a new DJ headphone with a matte black finish that matches perfectly with the SL-1200MK7 (unveiled this past January). Featuring an on-ear design, the EAH-DJ1200 provide precise monitoring even in loudest of environments. Keep reading for more.

Revealed at the IFA trade show in Berlin this past week, the EAH-DJ1200 headphones are the successor to the RP-DJ1200, which originally launched in 1996 and sold more than 500,000 units. While the new model inherits the basic concept of the previous model, they also feature more advanced functions, design, and sound quality.

See a few key features below:

Newly Developed 40mm Driver – Achieves clear, detailed sound, and high-durability input (2,500 mW) with no distortion even at high volumes.

270° Swing Arm Mechanism – Swiveling mechanisms allow for headphones to be used for monitoring with one ear or adapt to any style of monitoring.

Locking Detachable Cord – The detachable cord enables extra ease of use and high durability with a locking mechanism to prevent accidental detachment during use.

Alongside the sleek matte black finish, the EAH-DJ1200 headphones are lightweight and can be folded compactly for easy portability and storage. While the price tag has not yet been confirmed, Technics fans can look forward to finding these headphones worldwide later this year. To learn more, visit the Technics website.
