San Diego’s Museum of Contemporary Art (MCASD) recently hosted a vibrant two-day event series called EXPO, and BPM Music was proud to be a major sponsor. This exciting showcase brought together the best of San Diego’s publishing, design, music, and fashion scenes.

While the EXPO offered a unique opportunity for attendees to immerse themselves in the cultural landscape, it was at the EXPO After Dark event where BPM Music really got to shine.

After the daytime exhibits closed, the energy shifted into high gear with a series of DJ sets powered by BPM Music. The lineup featured a diverse range of talent, each artist bringing their own unique flavor to the dance floor, including Andre Power, co-founder and creative director of the influential music and artist collective Soulection, and Xica Soul, a DJ and radio host based in Los Angeles.

Also on deck were Bianca Lexis, a local LA favorite, and Skyler (10 High Design), a Jungle music pioneer, record label founder, designer, and legendary club curator. Last but certainly not least was San Diego/LA DJ and producer AMZEL, who also serves on the MCASD staff and co-organized the EXPO!

The EXPO also provided a platform for local businesses and brands to showcase their work. Attendees could interact with participants like Future Is Color lifestyle brand, local breweries like Societe, and creative collective Brain Dead, all companies deeply rooted in the San Diego arts scene.
