D16 Group, one of the most trusted plugin creators in the audio industry, has just released its long-awaited update to its celebrated Lush synthesizer instrument: the Lush 2 Multilayer Polyphonic Synthesizer plugin. Offering endless possibilities, it will be both familiar and inspiring to fans of analog-modeled synthesizers. Keep reading for more.
Lush 2 will feel comfortable to any hardware synthesizer fan while offering new options to inspire. The plugin helps producers find creative ways to express and combine their sounds. It offers a unique arpeggiator complete with presets to help add rhythm and texture and a modulation matrix to turn sounds into a complex ecosystem of music.
Multilayer architecture lets you route up to eight different sounds into one, producing a layered sound from just one instance. Flexible MIDI routing allows you to assign these layers to different keyboard sections, creating sounds that evolve and adapt across different tonal ranges.
You can also add two insert effects from a choice of eight for each layer before applying layer-independent EQ and compression in the mixer and adding send effects. This modular mixing means you can tailor the sound of each layer to complement each other and fit perfectly in the mix. Three send effects help to put the finishing touches on your soundstage with delay, chorus, or reverb.
Lush 2 is designed for digital accuracy with an analog feel, sounding just like a hardware analog synth. While this plugin isn’t a straight recreation of its predecessor, it’s built from modules based on many modern virtual synths. Combined into one compact, flexible layout, Lush 2 delivers carefully modeled oscillators combined with an intuitive workflow that might just make this plugin become your go-to soft synth.
Lush 2 is available for purchase now for just under $100. Visit D16’s website to learn more.
