Los Angeles, California. Born and raised.
Being from LA, a lot of people have heard of Compton and Long Beach but they don’t really know anything about the San Fernando Valley. I wanted to shed light on it and represent where I’m from by using my real first name and then adding ‘from the valley’ to, as they say, rep my city.
Fun and upbeat. Positive with a bit of an old school feel, taking you back to a more carefree time in rap.
I used to love a group called Mindless Behavior and the OMG Girlz, Watching their videos and seeing them perform, I knew that one day I wanted to perform as well.
Well, I am inspired by both the old and new school rappers. For old school rappers, I love Queen Latifah, Yoyo, Lil Kim, and of course Lauryn Hill. And for new school rappers, I would say Nicki Minaj, Latto, and Cardi B as I find inspiration from them all!
I love Pro Tools.
The creative process of making something out of nothing has always been so fascinating for me, Just everyone working on a common goal is very magical.
Yes, I’m in the process of working on an EP. Watch for details!
